Nepal : ADB agrees to offer a financial support of USD 56.8 million to Nepal

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has agreed to offer a financial support of USD 56.8 million to the government of Nepal for conducting the Integrated Urban Development Project in the country.
An agreement has been inked by Kenichi Yokoyama, the Country Director of ADB to Nepal, and Finance Secretary Krishna Hari Baskota in Kathmandu.
ADB has planned to provide $44.8 million as loan and $12 million as a grant for the development of physical infrastructures in Dharan, Janakpur, Nepalgunj and Siddharthanagar Municipalities.
