Singapore : Spring Singapore to invest $10 million in education industry

In a bid to encourage capability upgrading among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the education industry, Spring Singapore is committing a $10 million grant to its Education Innovation (EI) initiative.
This was announced at the inaugural Education Innovation Conference themed Education Innovation for Substantial Growth on Friday, at Suntec Convention Centre.
The EI initiative aims to encourage SMEs in education to break from conventional business models and schools of thought to delivery quality education.
The additional funds will help to \'fortify core capabilities in providing quality learning experiences, exploit expertise to increase market growth and streamline administrative functions to build a creative culture from inside out\', said Spring Singapore in a statement on Friday.
