Germany : HOCHTIEF secures contract for the R2 highway in Slovakia

HOCHTIEF has secured a contract from the national traffic authority NDS for a part of the R2 highway in Slovakia. The contract is worth approximately EUR 130 million for the joint venture, in which HOCHTIEF has a 50% share.
The R2 section MtnaLovinoba aTomaovce, for which the overall construction work began in July, runs for a length of around 13.5 kilometers.
The project involves eleven bridges, six anti-noise walls and eight supporting walls. The highway section is planned to be opened in 2021.
