Jordan : JHCO signs an agreement with UNHCR to help the Syrian refugees in Jordan

On Monday, May 14, the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) signed an agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to help the Syrian refugees in the Hashemite Kingdom.
JHCO Secretary General Ayman Mefleh stated that the organization’s humanitarian duty requires providing the required aid to Syrian refugees in cooperation with global humanitarian agencies.
In turn, UNHCR Representative in Jordan Andrew Harper noted that the agreement aims to support Syrian refugees in Jordan and highlighting the role of the Kingdom in offering aid and assistance to them.
