India : Indian Department of Personnel invites bids from call centres and IT agencies

A decision has been taken by the Indian government to establish a call centre with a web portal designed to receive RTI applications.
The Department of Personnel has announced tenders to invite bids from call centres and IT agencies to set up such a call centre.
The Ministry of Personnel has stated that complete bids can be submitted to them by July 10, 2012.
The tender calls to operate and maintain an RTI call centre that will facilitate voice calls, SMSs and inter-voice response system managed calls.
