India : Rs 234 cr contract for IL&FS ENGINEERING

Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd , Mumbai has awarded a contract to IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Ltd worth a Rs 233.93-crore.
The contract includes construction of roadbed, major and minor bridges, track linking as well as others works in relation with the doubling of Bhigwan- Mohol section - 127.14 km., which forms part of Daund-Gulbarga doubling in Solapur division of the Central Railways in Maharashtra.
From the date of commencement of work, completion of the project is scheduled within 42 months.
For one more Railway project, IL&FS Engineering Services has even emerged as the lowest bidder for work which includes construction of a tunnel for an amount of Rs 269 crore.
