Azerbaijan : Azersu - The contractor for a World Bank funded project in Azerbaijan has been finalized

Azerbaijan\'s national water operator Azersu has announced that it has finalized its contractor for the work of rebuilding water supply and sewerage system in the city of Sabirabad.
The Government of Azerbaijan along with the World Bank is funding the project.
Out of eight candidates the Azerbaijani-Turkish consortium Kocoglu-Art-Akkord secured the contract. The corresponding contract was inked on May 17.
Under the project, a reservoir, pump stations, a laboratory for analysis of drinking water and the operations center will be constructed in Sabirabad.Additionally, water distribution network of 141.9 kilometers in length, 96.9 kilometers long sewer network, eight pumping stations will be constructed, 2,200 subscribers will be linked to the network, and 223 fire hydrants will be built.
