Spain : Spanish official trade deficit cut by 29.4% in March

The Spanish trade deficit fell by a sharp 29.4 per cent in March from the figure 12 months ago, providing a glimmer of hope for the recession hit eurozone country, official data showed on Friday.
The deficit fell to 3.245 billion euros (US$4.1 billion), economy ministry figures showed, as exports climbed by 1.2 per cent and imports fell by 4.6 per cent, a sign the economy was benefiting more from international trade.
