Singapore : Koon\'s unit secures $12.5m contract

Koon Holdings Limited on Friday said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Koon Construction & Transport Co Pte Ltd (KCTC), has secured a $12.5 million contract.
Under the contract, KCTC will supply and installation of shore protection works for the T-Bund Construction at Jurong Island.
The contract is expected to last 7 months and is expected to contribute positively to the group\'s financial performance for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2012.
With the inclusion of this newly awarded project, the group\'s outstanding construction order book will be approximately S$117.01 million, excluding the Vietnam project amounting to US$160 million which was announced in 2010.
