The optional exploitation of an attached area of 8,282 m2 is contemplated.
Adif has approved the tender for the management of services and marketing in the freight terminal of Vigo-Guixar. The resulting successful tenderer will manage and commercialize, at its risk and success, the spaces, facilities and resources object of the contract for a period of 10 years, extendable for another 5 years.
Among these resources is an approximate area of 26,772 m2 for logistic use, with 6 non-electrified access roads and train dispatches for loading and unloading work. In addition, a gantry crane and a mobile crane are made available to the successful tenderer.
The tender, with a minimum income set at 1,871,160 euros (plus VAT), also contemplates the possibility of operating an extension zone, annexed to the main area, with 8,282 m2 of surface.

Tender characteristics
In this terminal Railroad of a public nature, the winning company will be obliged to provide the Intermodal Transport Unit Handling Service (UTI) to railway companies and other candidates who request it.
In order to guarantee the continuity of the service, the successful tenderer must maintain the structure and maximum reference prices (or offer lower ones) approved by Adif for the Basic UTI Handling Service during 2020. During 2021 the awardee may modify said maximum prices.
The provision of other services, such as the storage and storage of UTI (except for Hazardous Materials), its cleaning and repair, inspection, customs management, hauling, billing, etc ... will be carried out on a commercial basis, in accordance with the agreements and agreements between the parties.
With this tender, Adif continues with its management policy aligned with the Infrastructure, Transport and Housing Plan (PITVI) of the Ministry of Development, which contemplates the active participation in the provision of services of the different agents involved in the transport logistics chain rail freight.
