Publish Date : 17-Dec-2019
Cardno has been awarded the next contract phase in the Logan Water Infrastructure Program Alliance to deliver water, wastewater and recycled water infrastructure that benefits the regional community.
With over a decade of history working with the City of Logan, Cardno recognises the importance of delivering effective water solutions to Logan as one of the fastest growing areas in Australia. Our teams have been working with Logan City Council since 2009 on the multi-award winning Logan Water Alliance (2009-2015) and the renewed Logan Water Infrastructure Alliance (2015-2018).
The new alliance contract is valued at up to $1Bn over a nine year period to 2029 and the program will be delivered as part of a fully integrated team with Logan City Council, Downer and WSP.
The main aim of the program will be to support Councils focus on elevating their project management approach to enable efficiencies their technical, project management and program management office activities.
Cardnos General Manager of South East Queensland, Natalie Muir, said the win has built upon the strong track record of Downer and WSP working with the City of Logan over the past 10 years.
Were fortunate to continue the journey with the Council and really make a difference to the surrounding community that will last for generations to come in the future, Natalie said.
Securing this significant work is another great milestone for many of our people at Cardno and we look forward to working on the alliance program for many more years.
