India : CEL announces tenders for supply of 5 MW multi-crystalline solar PV modules for Maharashtra Projects

The Central Electronics Limited (CEL) has announced a tender for the supply of 5 MW multi-crystalline solar PV modules (72 Si solar cells), to be supplied at different substations in various districts of Maharashtra.
As per the tender, the scope of work will cover the supply of the solar modules to the different substations in the state. The modules must be multi-crystalline with a minimum rated capacity of 335 Wp made from 72 silicon solar cells. Additionally, the bidder will also be responsible for the design, manufacture/assembly, testing and supply of solar PV modules.
The last date for bid submission of bids is January 13, 2019, and opening of the techno-commercial bids will be held on the same date. All bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 10 lakh along with their bids.
In order to take part in the bidding process the bidders must be original PV module manufacturer (Indian) with an installed automated line facility for manufacturing of 30MWp per year, and also the firm should have successfully manufactured and supplied Multi/Monocrystalline Solar Photovoltaic modules of 325 Wp to 350 Wp for government/ state entities. The bidders are required to have a cumulative turnover of Rs. 9 crores in the last three financial years (FY 16-17, FY 17- 18 & FY 18-19).
