A tender has been announced by State-owned enterprise, The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), seeking bids from eligible bidders to install a 5 MW solar energy power plant at its Hazira Plant.

The selected bidders will be responsible for the design, engineering, supply, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning of the solar plant on a Lump Sum Turnkey (LSTK) basis. Additionally, the developers will be required to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance services for the plant for 7 years. The O&M period shall commence immediately after the successful operational acceptance test (OAT) of the project.

For completing the construction work on the project, the project developers will have a period of 12 months from the date of placement of Notification of Award (NOA).

February 11, 2020 is the deadline for bid submission, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on the same date.

To address the concerns raised by the prospective bidders, a pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for January 20, 2020.

All bidders are required to submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 35.93 lakh along with their bids.
