India : Rs.161.20 Cr. NTPC contract for EMCO

EMCO Ltd has secured a contract from NTPC to supply generator transformers.
The contract worth Rs161 crore is for Mauda Super Thermal Power Project - II (2 x 660 MW) and Solapur Super Thermal Power Project (2 x 660 MW).
As per the order, EMCO will be responsible for the supply, installation and commissioning of 35 transformers of various ratings, which includes fourteen 260 MVA, 420 kV single phase generator transformers and three 200 MVA, 400 kV three phase auto transformers.
