Brazil : AF bags $84m nuclear services contract from ETN

AF has secured a contract from Electrobras Termonuclear Electronuclear (ETN) for the ANGRA 3 Nuclear Power Station in Brazil. The contract is worth SEK 600m.
Located at the Central Nuclear Almirante Alvaro Alberto (CNAAA) in Angra dos Reis, Rio de Janeiro, the ANGRA 3 Nuclear Power Station is administered by ETN.
Mainly, the contract covers the 3D modelling of the piping, ventilation and electrical engineering design, technical support services and the as-built design for the nuclear island buildings of the nuclear power station.
AF Finland will be responsible to manage the project together with various other local sub-contractors. Work on the project is expected to start by the company during the third quarter of 2012. Completion of the project is scheduled in 2019.
