The Minister of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure Oleg Butkovic signed a contract for the project "Increasing Integrated Mobility in the City of Sibenik - Increasing the Number of Public Transport Passengers" in Sibenik, worth HRK 99 million. Of this amount, HRK 73.7 million is a European grant. The contract was also signed by Tomislav Petric, director of the Central Agency for Financing and Contracting of Programs and Projects of the European Union (CFCA) and Goran Bulat, director of the city parking company, which is the developer.
"It is a comprehensive integrated project that includes several activities and phases. Since it is also a pilot project, I would like to thank the Ministry of Regional Development for its understanding and support, as well as the City of ibenik for preparing the project," said Minister Oleg Butkovic.
Improving customer awareness and facilitating the use of services
The project "Increasing Integrated Mobility in the City of ibenik - Increasing the Number of Passengers in Public Transport" includes the development of study documentation for the organization and integration of public transport in the City of ibenik and the development of an application to improve user awareness and facilitate the use of various services in the transport sector.
The application will integrate different forms of transport and information about them and enable payment of tickets in public transport and in public parking lots in the area of Sibenik. The project also envisages the procurement of 11 low-floor buses for the purpose of maintaining public city transport on 7 lines, as well as the procurement and installation of accompanying equipment for the arrangement of 17 bus stops (info-display).
The project envisages the construction and equipping of the Logistic Center Poljana, which includes the construction of an underground garage, the construction of a square, the procurement and installation of urban equipment and the construction of a bypass.
Through the CFCA Sibenik HRK 420 million
"This is a project that will completely change the face of ibenik and significantly improve the infrastructure standard of the city," said Mayor Zeljko Buric.
SAFU Director Tomislav Petric said that in the very short term, HRK 420 million arrived in the CFCA in Sibenik, and this is the 13th contract to be signed for projects in the ibenik area. Minister Butkovi also allocated funds for projects of general harbor and maritime property renewal in the ibenik - Knin County. The contracts were signed with the Director of the Port Authority of the County of ibenik-Knin eljko Dulibi for projects; Construction of the port open for public transport Sibenik - Vrnaa bay in the amount of HRK 4 million, Construction and reconstruction of the Prvic Sepurina port in the amount of HRK 4 million and Construction of the port open for public traffic Bilice - Bay Stubalj in the amount of HRK 5 million.
Contracts were signed with the Mayor of Murter-Kornati Municipality, Toni Tur inov, and representatives of the City of Vodice to co-finance the project for rehabilitation of coastal pollution caused by inclement weather at the Podvrka site in Murter in the amount of HRK 600,000, or for the project "Degov Riva" Prvi in Prvi epurina from HRK 400,000.
