Singapore : $1.2 billion worth of Govt technology tenders up for grabs

The Singapore Government plans to award $1.2 billion worth of technology tenders this year, up from $1.12 billion last year.
Some of these are in the areas of data analytics, e-government service and application hosting and business process management.
There will also be a call for proposals to design a system to allow civil servants to work while on the move using smartphones and tablets.
The key agencies that will be upgrading their technology systems include the Ministry of Defence, Central Provident Fund Board and the Ministry of Manpower.
