China : Sunpower\'s unit inks US$7.37m flare systems supply deal

Sunpower Group Ltd on Monday said it has secured a 46.8 million yuan (US$7.37 million) contract to supply flare systems and provide accompanying services to China\'s first coal-gas-oil integrated utility project.
The project a start-up of the Jingbian Energy and Chemical Integrated Utilization, which belongs to a unit of China National Coal Group Corp has also been classified as a UN program to promote the development and deployment of clean coal technologies.
The contract was secured by the group\'s wholly-owned subsidiary, Jiangsu Sunpower Technology Co Ltd from Hualu Engineering & Technology Co Ltd.
The products and services for this contract will be delivered in 2013 and will have a positive impact on FY2013 results.
