The Reading-based, Interserve has secured a contract worth a Ł24m to build a new link road in Northamptonshire. The contract was awarded by Northamptonshire County Council for constructing the new A34 Corby Link Road.

The project is to include the construction of around 6.5km of dual carriageway and three new bridges. This scheme is expected to enhance transport links in Corby and support the town\'s growth and even will help in reducing the number and severity of road accidents and provide a \"high-quality route\".

Interserve executive director David Paterson stated that, \"The project will showcase our expertise in major civil works and our commitment to delivering such extensive developments sustainably. Our major projects team will work with local suppliers to achieve this.\"
