Singapore : UEL\'s unit secures 3 contracts worth $70.3m

United Engineers Limited\'s wholly-owned subsidiary, UES Holdings Pte Ltd, on Tuesday said it has secured three environmental engineering contracts worth S$70.3 million.
Two of the contracts worth a total of $56.3 million, are from Singapore\'s national water agency PUB. The first contract is for the proposed expansion to digesters and effluent pumping station at Changi Water Reclamation Plant (CWRP), while the second contract is for the proposed membrane plant at CWRP.
The third contract, valued at US$11 million, is for a waste-to-energy project at a poultry farm in Singapore.
