Singapore : UE wins $37.7m sub-contract for SUTD project

UE E&C Ltd on Wednesday announced that its unit, United Engineers (Singapore) Private Limited, was awarded the tender for a $37.7 million sub-contract by Kajima Overseas Asia Pte Ltd.
Under the contract, United Engineers will install air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation at the Singapore University of Technology and Design.
Works on the academic buildings at Somapah Road / Changi South Avenue 1 will take 31 months andis expected to be completed by March 1, 2015.
The group said that the project will not have a material impact on the consolidated net tangible assets per share and consolidated earnings per share of the group for the current financial year ending December 31, 2012.
