One of Qatar’s leading logistics companies, Gulf Warehousing Company (GWC), has won a contract from Spinneys Qatar, which is a major retail hypermarket chain across the Gulf.

GWC will have to manage all warehousing and distribution of temperature-controlled, chilled and frozen storage of Spinneys products to different outlets in Qatar and will also be responsible to handle the reverse logistics from outlets along with services like pick, pack, and inventory management.

For managing the processes, GWC’s state-of-the-art technology platform will be used, mainly the Warehouse Management System (WMS), that controls all warehouse operations. With the help of the system, GWC will be able to manage the whole supply chain and connect all inbound and outbound logistics by ensuring efficient monitoring of inventory and order fulfillment.
