Singapore : Sunpower Group gets US$3.86m supply contract

Sunpower Group Ltd on Tuesday said it had secured a RMB24.5 million (US$4.82 million) contract from Ningbo Haiyue New Material Co Ltd, a subsidiary of Shanghai-listed Zhejiang Haiyue Co Ltd.
Under the contract, which was signed by the group\'s wholly owned subsidiary, Jiangsu Sunpower Technology Co Ltd, the group will supply eight sets of high-efficient heat exchangers to one of China\'s largest utilisation projects of propane and mixed C4 with an annual production capacity of 1,380,000 tonnes in Ningbo, China.
Delivery is slated to take place in 2013. The contract is expected to have a positive impact on the firm\'s FY2013 results.
