Singapore : Chip Eng Seng clinches $210m HDB contract

Chip Eng Seng Corporation Ltd said on Monday that it had clinched a $210 million contract from the Housing Development Board.
Chip Eng Seng Contractors (1988) Pte Ltd will be involved in the construction of five residential building blocks, with 1,232 units in total, and other community facilities for 42 months.
With the award of the new contract and the Bukit Panjang project it bagged in August, the construction group\'s outstanding order book has grown to $711 million from the $364 million it announced in its second quarter statement.
The contract is not expected to have any impact on the net tangible assets and earnings per share of the group for the current financial year ending Dec 31.
