THEIA HE-t solar inverter has won the prestigious \"red dot award: product design 2012\" as one of the best-designed industrial products of 2012.
The red dot awards have gained world renown for identifying world-class product and industrial designs. More than 4,515 designs were submitted to the renowned competition from companies worldwide. Past red dot award: product design winners include the BMW 5 Series and the MacBook Air. The THEIA HE-t won its award in the industry and crafts category, one of 17 product design award categories.

Red dot awards are offered in three categories: the \"red dot award: product design,\" the \"red dot award: communication design\" and the \"red dot award: design concept.\" Product design award winners must demonstrate excellence in multiple areas including usability, quality and innovation.
The red dot awards are coordinated by Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen based in Essen, Germany. The red dot award has established itself internationally as one of the most appreciated quality seals for outstanding product and industrial design.
