Germany : HORST HELDT extends contract

Schalke director of sport and communication Horst Heldt has prolonged his current contract until 2016.
Although the contract has not been finally inked yet, the \"Royal Blues\" announced the contract extension of Heldt for an extra three years.
Heldt has agreed with Schalke supervisory board chairman Clemens Toennies on a three-year deal through a handshake.
Heldt entered Shalke from Bundesliga rival Stuttgart in 2010 to ink a three-year contract that will end in the summer of 2013.
Toennies, said : \"We trust on continuity in this important personal matter. He is doing an outstanding job for the club.\"
