Australia : $154m BARANGAROO contract for THIESS

Engineering, construction and mining services subsidiary of Leighton Holdings, Thiess has been awarded a contract to construct a walkway through Sydney\'s CBD to the Barangaroo development.
The contract is worth $154 million.
Through this contract, the key pedestrian link would connect Wynyard Station with the waterfront development, featuring a pedestrian tunnel and bridge, by which people will be able to walk between the two sites in about six minutes.
