Under a follow-on deal inked with the European plane-maker, Colombia\'s fleet of Airbus Military C295 tactical transports will be expanded to five aircraft in early 2013.

Now reaching the completion of its assembly at Airbus Military\'s San Pablo site in Seville, Spain, one additional aircraft will be delivered to the Colombian air force in February next year.

The asset will be used to implement \"military transport and humanitarian aid missions\".

The Colombian air force received the delivery of its existing four Pratt & Whitney Canada PW127G-engined C295s in 2008 and 2009.
