Chasen Holdings Limited said on Monday that it had secured its first purified water and wastewater treatment Transfer-Operate-Transfer (TOT) project in Jilin Province, China.
Through its wholly owned subsidiary, Global Technology Synergy Pte Ltd, it has entered into a TOT agreement with the Jilin Economic Technology Development Board in Jilin city, Jilin province, China, for one Purified Water Treatment plant (PWT) and one Waste Water Treatment (WWT) plant.
The total investment for acquiring the 30 years concession rights for both plants is up to 300 million yuan (S$58.2 million). The group will fund the transaction through internal resources and bank borrowings.
The design capacity of the PWT plant is 200,000 cubic metres/day and 60,000 cubic metres/day for the WWT plant.
