BUILDING, construction and civil engineering contractor Tiong Seng Holdings Limited on Wednesday said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Tiong Seng Contractors Pte Ltd, has been awarded a $93 million contract to build 97 terrace houses in Serangoon Gardens.

The project, to be jointly developed with City Developments Limited and Hong Realty Private Ltd, is expected to start in December.

The worksite along Serangoon Garden Way measures 300,000 sq ft, with the houses each having five bedrooms, family/entertainment areas, attics and basements.

The project is not expected to have any material impact on the net tangible assets and earnings per share of the group for the current financial year ending Dec 31.
