United States : FIDELITY NATIONAL INFORMATION SERVICES inks five-year deal with BMO HARRIS BANK
Publish Date : 07-Nov-2012
On Monday, Fidelity National Information Services Inc. announced signing of a new five-year agreement with BMO Harris Bank, which includes core processing, mobile financial services, online bill payment, trust services and EFT processing.
BMO Financial of Toronto, parent firm of BMO Harris, in 2011 had acquired Milwaukee-based M&I Bank and further in October concluded the transition to the BMO Harris Bank name.
Several customers came forward with the problems they face as BMO switched them from M&I’s technology network to the BMO Harris network.
The two systems were products of FIS, however the M&I system earlier came from Brown Deer-based Metavante Technologies Inc., that was acquired by FIS of Jacksonville, Fla., in 2009.
