KEMET Corporation, a leading manufacturer of tantalum, ceramic, aluminum, film, paper and electrolytic capacitors, today announced it will be a presenter at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Vehicle Technologies Program FY13 Kickoff Meeting for Advanced Power Electronics and Electric Motors (APEEM) R&D, being held November 13-15, 2012 at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory Conference Center in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

The objective of the meeting is to communicate goals, approaches and expectations for FY13 and beyond. APEEM R&D has increased emphasis on research and development of traction drive systems of the future that are supported by focused power electronics, electric motors and thermal management technology development.
