Publish Date : 17-Nov-2012
Heidelberg UK has inked a yearlong deal to become the exclusive dealer of the Guillo-Crease, which it will make accessible with Polar guillotines.
Guillo-Crease lets users to transform guillotines into low cost creasing tools utilizing a magnetized creasing block, which is joined to the clamp of the guillotine. Depending on the size of machine, it will be sold in packs costing from Å340 to Å440.
This deal was a \"ground breaking\" development for the product, said inventor of the Guillo-Crease, guillotine operator Craig Collins.
Paul Thompson, Heidelberg UK’s cutting specialist, said: \"It is an ideal enhancement to a Polar guillotine and at a very affordable price. It is the perfect solution for short-run commercial work that requires creasing.â€
According to Collins, the product was prepared in two and a half years. He said: \"I’ve had interest from six major companies. My first deal was with a smaller firm and it turned bitter but that made me more determined.â€
He added that he didn’t know how much he could imagine making from sales of the tool.
