GROUND engineering firm Ryobi Kiso announced today that it recently secured contracts worth $23 million, bringing the total value of contracts so far this year to more than $156 million.
Some of the contracts awarded for foundation and geoservices works include for the condominium Heron Bay at Upper Serangoon Road, and a contract with the Land Transport Authority for Tampines Expressway and Yishun Avenue 6.
Other overseas contract are for the Esperance port access corridor in Western Australia.
Chief executive Mr Ong Tiong Siew said: \"Despite the challenging business environment that had persisted for quite some time, we have been able to secure projects consistently due to our strong track record. While global economic weakness continues, we are continuously reviewing various cost management measures to mitigate the effect of rising operating costs.\"
