Pakistan : KESC and AKHMCF inks deal with SIEMENS to establish 132kV grid station
Publish Date : 06-Feb-2013
The Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) and Aga Khan Hospital and Medical College Foundation (AKHMCF) have inked contracts with Siemens Pakistan to set up a 132kV GIS grid station at AKHMCF premises, with an investment of around Rs680.7 million.
During signing of the deal, Syed Arshad Masood Zahidi, chief generation and transmission officer, represented KESC, and Karim Nur Mohamed, director general of Planning and Development signed on behalf of AKHMCF.
KESC and AKHMCF would together share the grid station, which would facilitate reliable supply of electricity to AKHMCF, along with KESC consumers.
Additionally this grid station will also strengthen the system reliability and stability.
