A global maker of power electronic systems and solutions for industrial power supplies and renewable 1energy, AEG Power Solutions, has secured a deal for a 30 MW solar power plant project from Madhya Pradesh (MP)-based M and B Switchgears Ltd.

Zwanenburg, Netherlands-based AEG Power Solutions Group is the exclusive arm of the parent company 3W Power SA based in Luxembourg.

The deal will see AEG providing M and B Switchgears high reliability inverters for their solar energy plant in Q1-2013.

Managing Director of AEG Power Solutions in India, Sridhar Murthy, said : \'With this order our total orders exceed 100 Mw within the last one year\'.

Director M and B Switchgears Ltd, Vikalp Mundra, said : \'M and B Switchgears was the first solar power producer in India to be issued 249 solar Renewable Energy Certificates. Partnering with AEGPS will further strengthen our commitment towards an alternative energy future.\'
