Ukraine : Ukraine and Azerbaijan will always be connected through strong freindship and partnership

On April 11, 2013 in the frames of his visit to Baku a Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, co-chairman of a Joint intergovernmental Ukraine-Azerbaijan economic cooperation commission Kostyantyn Gryshchenko was received by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. In the course of meeting the Azerbaijan's leader, in particular, emphasized that "Ukraine for Azerbaijan is a real friend, partner and ally". In the context of preparation of a visit of Azerbaijan's President to Ukraine there were discussed priority issues of bilateral cooperation, which are within personal supervision of the heads of two states.

With his colleague, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Y.Eyyubov, K.Gryshchenko discussed practical aspects of preparation to the regular session of the Joint inter-governmental Ukraine- Azerbaijan economic cooperation commission. The Vice Prime Ministers reaffirmed with pleasure the positive dynamics of bipartite cooperation in energy, air-space, trade and economic and humanitarian areas. K.Gryshchenko informed his Azerbaijan's counterpart that already 4 thousand of student from Azerbaijan are receiving education in Ukraine and Ukrainian higher educational institutions are ready to further increase the amounts of educational services for the youth from Azerbaijan. At this, Y.Eyyubov accentuated that one of the main reasons education in Ukraine appears popular among young Azerbaijanians is high tolerance and traditional benevolence of Ukrainian nation which affords to avoid any problems in international relations.

Prospects of broadening cooperation in energy area in the frames of the determined by President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych tasks in diversification of sources of oil and gas supply to Ukraine were considered by Kostyantyn Gryshchenko with head of SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic) Rovnag Abdullayev.

During all the meetings in Baku it was emphasized that leaders of Ukraine pay constant peculiar attention to the development of relations with Azerbaijan and count that friendship and "feeling of comradeship" will always distinguish relations between Ukraine and Azerbaijan.
