Worldwide software provider, Cincom Systems, has signed a technology partnership agreement with Jacksonville-based RF-SMART, a division of ICS, Inc. RF-SMART provides all-in-one data collection and mobility supply chain execution software. RF-SMART will enable customers to easily collect project and inventory data via barcodes and RFID chips, and seamlessly migrate that data into their Cincom Total ERP system.
Cincom Total is an end-to-end ERP solution built natively within Microsoft Dynamics AX.
"Cincom customers can use Total to track a project throughout the supply chain," says Dave Schwarber, managing director, Cincom Manufacturing Business Solutions division. "With the help of RF-SMART, they will be able to collect data tied to individual pieces of a project via barcode devices and RFID chips quickly and effectively."
"When you have complex products, you need to be able to capture inventory data efficiently," says Michael C. Morales, CEO, RF-SMART. "RF-SMART and Cincom's shared technology means that prospects can easily collect the data tied to an individual component of a project and track it throughout the supply chain without issues, and even tie a cost to it. This will allow Cincom customers to easily control their projects and accounting systems, without relying on a third-party vendor to do so."
