CA Technologies today announced that ClickSoftware, a global provider of automated mobile workforce management and optimization solutions, has selected CA Technologies identity and access management (IAM) solutions to secure its cloud-based offering.

ClickSoftware enables companies to efficiently coordinate the dispatch of field service technicians to customer locations, and easily manage field service operations through real-time communication and scheduling optimization.

The implementation of CA IdentityMinder, CA SiteMinder and CA SiteMinder Federation will allow ClickSoftware to securely and efficiently identify and authorize user access to its cloud-based solutions.

CA Technologies partner Datanin, Ltd. implemented the integrated solution of CA IdentityMinder and CA SiteMinder in just one month to enable ClickSoftware's cloud service customers to easily add and manage new user identities and their application access by updating, freezing or deleting users as required as well as to provide single sign-on.

CA SiteMinder Federation was added in the second phase of the project to allow customer access to additional applications without requiring another login. This capability will go live with ClickSoftware customers this year.
