Avnet Technology Solutions, a leader in global IT solutions distribution and an operating group of Avnet, Inc., today announced it has been selected by IBM to serve as an IBM Global Training Provider, further cementing Avnet's existing relationship with IBM as one of its largest global partners. Avnet will now offer its global network of reseller partners, as well as end users, in-depth training programs to build competency and knowledge around the entire IBM portfolio.
The centers supporting this global training role will commence on July 12, 2013, in two phases, starting with: Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Norway, Sweden, the U.K. and Ireland, and the U.S. Phase two will include: Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe, and Latin America.
