The corresponding agreement was reached during a meeting of the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Igor Prasolov with The World Bank Director for Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine Mr. Qimiao Fan.

According to Igor Prasolov, currently operating portfolio of the Bunk in Ukraine is relevant to the priorities of the state policy for the modernization of the real economy.

At the same time, he said that in 2013 - 2014 years Ukraine counts on the support of the World Bank in the preparation of new investment projects to improve the health and efficiency of social services, modernization of municipal, transportation and energy infrastructure.

Qimiao Fan reported the possibility of granting Ukraine the system of loans to finance the state budget totaling $ 800 million. A prerequisite for such loans is to restore cooperation with the IMF.

According to Igor Prasolov, the Government intends to continue dialogue with IMF to launch a new program "stand-by" and counts on the support of the World Bank in the preparation of new system projects to finance the state budget and structural reforms.
