Pakistan,Thailand : THAILAND boosts ties with PAKISTAN

Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra's recent visit to Islamabad provided a significant boost to the relations between the Thailand and Pakistan.
The two countries inked a cooperation deal to boost their annual bilateral trade to US$1 billion in five years.
With the inaugural meeting of the Joint Trade Commission, trade goals are also expected to be achieved as more Thai investors currently leverage on the favourable economic environment there.
Moreover, both Yingluck and Pakistan's recently elected President Nawaz SharifSharif, who also serve as defence ministers, quickly agreed to strenghten their defence cooperation.
This cooperation includes high-level exchanges between all the armed forces; military training; scholarly exchanges; as well as partnerships in the defence industry.
