United Arab Emirates : Dubai Chamber discusses cooperation ties with Dubai Customs, RAK Chamber officials

Seeking to enhance cooperation ties and to exchange expertise, knowledge and best practices with other departments, the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted delegations from Dubai Customs and Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, at its head office in Dubai recently.
During their visit to Dubai Chamber, the two delegations' discussions focused on strengthening cooperation ties in the areas of risk management, financial processes and IT systems adopted by the Chamber as well as to share expertise and develop mutual relationships for the common benefit of their respective organisations in the long run.
Welcoming the delegations, Mr. Essa Ali Al Zaabi, Senior Vice President, Institutional Support Sector, Dubai Chamber, stated that these visits supported the Chamber's efforts in consolidating bilateral ties with other departments while leading to a mutual exchange of expertise.
These meetings also help in strengthening institutional performance which is a priority with Dubai Chamber as the business representative body and its employees believe in serving their customers and stakeholders in line with best international practices, said Al Zaabi.
On their part, the visiting delegations lauded the role of Dubai Chamber in adopting and implementing various initiatives and best practices while offering professional services to the business community.
Earlier in 2012, Dubai Chamber has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Dubai Customs to exchange expertise, knowledge and cooperation to serve the various segments of the multinational business community based in the emirate.
