Turkey: MEMORANDUM of Partnership signed by Turkish Sembol and Sberbank

In the framework of the Kazakh-Turkish business forum in Astana the Turkey's Sembol bank and Sberbank have signed a memorandum on strategic partnership.
The Deputy Chairman of the Board for International Business of Sberbank Sergey Gorkov, chairman of Sberbank Alexander Kamalov, president of DenizBank Hakan Atesh, and the director of the Sembol branch in Kazakhstan Nihat Sarydzhan signed the document.
Trend quotes Gorkov as saying, "Russia, Kazakhstan and Turkey are strategic partners in the area of increasing international trade flows and joint investment projects. This memorandum of cooperation will greatly expand the possibilities offered by the Sberbank group to support projects and business of one of the largest Turkish companies, Sembol, with the help of modern and optimal financing schemes in all regions of our presence".
Hakan Atesh said that since DenizBank joined the big family of Sberbank its financial performance has improved significantly.
Nihat Sarydzhan, in turn, stated that "Sembol has been working with Sberbank for more than three years, and during that time the parties have had a warm partnership, supported by large projects such as the construction of various facilities for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, construction one of the leading universities of Kazakhstan, Nazarbayev University, and of the new Television and Radio in Astana".
