SAUDI ARABIA : Saudi Arabia signed $265 million water and sewage contract

Saudi Arabia’s Water and Electricity Minister has signed a raft of water and sewage contracts in the Kingdom worth $265m.
The contracts, which have been signed with a series of specialised national companies, include a $10m sewage network in Al-Rass governorate and a $150m water channeling project at Phase 2 of the Shoaibah desalination plant, which will be completed within the next three years.
The contracts also includes construction of a $6.9 million water tank and distribution centre at Wadi bin Hashbal and a $5.8 million sewage network project at Uhud Rafeeda in Asir province.
