Maire Tecnimont S.p.A. announces that several contracts and order implementations have been awarded through its subsidiaries Tecnimont S.p.A., KT - Kinetics Technology S.p.A. and Stamicarbon BV, for a total amount of approximately €118 million for Licensing, Technology Packages and Engineering Services.
These new awards, related to the core business of oil & gas, petrochemicals and fertilizers, have been granted mainly in Europe, the Middle East and Central - Eastern Asia, confirming the growth strategy in the higher margin and technology-driven service area.
In particular, the Group has consolidated its presence in Azerbaijan through a number of technology licensing, engineering and procurement services awards granted by a major local Oil & Gas player, related to fertilizer and polyolefin plants in the industrial site of Sumgayit.
Furthermore, contracts have been awarded by a major global licensor for engineering services related to two EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) plants in Shanghai and Yangzi (People’s Republic of China).
