The Tender Board yesterday awarded projects worth RO 30,174,822 for projects including rehabilitation of Mirbat-Hasik Road in Dhofar Governorate (RO 21,455,623); internal roads in Al Ainiyah, Al Bori and Somarah villages in the Wilayat of Samayil in the Dakhiliyah Governorate (RO 2,082,752) and supply and installation of medical equipment for the heart diseases centre at Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah, the Governorate of Dhofar (RO 1,644,922).
Projects include supply and installation of medical equipment for the outpatient clinic at Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah, the Governorate of Dhofar (RO 1,112,606); design and construction of Musaidrah road connection in the Wilayat of Mahdha in the Al Buraimi Governorate (RO 711,520); additional works for meter reading and collection of electricity bills in the areas under the Rural Areas Electricity Company (RO 909,368); additional works for the expansion of water distribution networks in Al Massarat Basin in the wilayats of Ibri, Yanqul and Dhank in the Al Dhahirah Governorate (RO 613,007) and transport of potable water from the filling station in Izzi in the Wilayat of Adam to Saima and Maqzah villages in the Wilayat of Izki and Wadi Mahram in the Wilayat of Samayil in the Governorate of Dakhiliyah (RO 340,891).
Also included are supply, installation, testing and operation of the optic fibres on the main cables in Tayibat, Khasab and Diba in the Governorate of Musandam (RO 281,098); transport of the potable water from filling station in the Wilayat of Manah to Al Qaryatain village in the Wilayat of Izki in the Governorate of Dakhiliyah (RO 276,772); additional works for the provision of the consultancy services for the design and supervision of the implementation of water supply project for the Wilayat of Qurayat (RO 217, 438); renewal of the agreement with the European Organisation for Satellite Investment (RO 158,960); additional works for the construction of a connection for Wadi Al A’ala-Sent in Wadi Al Ain-Sent road in the Wilayat of Ibri (RO 165,250); consultancy services for the supervision of the construction of water transportation pipeline from the Wilayat of Samayil to the Wilayat of Izki in the Dakhiliyah Governorate (RO 129,545) and consultancy services for study, design and supervision of the construction of Taitam-Qaftoot road in the Governorate of Dhofar (RO 75,000).
The 30th meeting of the year was held under the chairmanship of Dr Rasheed bin al Safi al Huraibi, Chairman of the Tender Board.
