UNITED STATES : Meggit won $475m US Army contract

Meggitt, the aerospace and defence engineer has been awarded a multi-million dollar contract with the US Army.
Meggitt Training Systems together with four other suppliers will be supplying equipment for live-five training rages at US Army bases. The five year contract is worth around $475m.
According to the company, “Meggitt will manufacture and install stationary and moving infantry and armour target mechanisms and control systems and provide product support.”
Ronald Vadas, Meggitt Training Systems president stated that, “Our selection is testament to the strength of our 15-year relationship with the US Army and we look forward to continuing to respond to its evolving range development and modernisation requirements.”
