SINGAPORE : Marco Polo gets US$27m shipbuilding contracts

Marco Polo Marine Ltd announced that it has secured two shipbuilding contracts worth US$13.5 million each.
Awarded by its associated company PT Pelayaran National Bina Buana Raya (BBR), Marco Polo will construct two 5,400bhp AHTS, expected to be completed and delivered in late 2012.
These shipbuilding contracts, totalling US$27 million, are expected to contribute positively to the group\'s consolidated profit after tax for the financial year ending Sept 30, 2012.
