UNITED STATES : ST Aerospace secures S$453m of maintenance contracts

ST Engineering\'s aerospace arm, ST Aerospace has secured S$453 million worth of maintenance contracts in the third quarter of 2011.
The contracts periods range from three to 18 months will be carried out at ST Aerospace\'s facilities and affiliates in the Americas, Asia Pacific and Europe for its aircraft maintenance and modification, component and engine total support businesses.
Between July and September 2011, ST Aerospace redelivered 113 aircraft to various customers, for airframe related maintenance and modification work. It also serviced 70 engines and 13,775 components for both military and commercial customers.
In the last quarter, ST Aerospace also entered into an agreement to acquire DRB Aviation Consultants.
